Nanoplasty Hair Smoothing

Organic, formaldehyde-free hair smoothing at our Nerang salon. Less frizz, half the blow-dry time, and hair that is genuinely healthier for it — for three to six months.

The essentials

  • $450, one flat price. Length and thickness do not change it, so the figure you see is the figure you pay. During September 2026 we are running it at $250
  • Two to three hours in the chair
  • Lasts three to six months, growing out softly with no regrowth line
  • Formaldehyde-free — no fumes, no chemical damage
  • Walk out finished — no waiting period, no rules about tying your hair up

What nanoplasty does for your hair

Most smoothing treatments coat the hair. Nanoplasty goes inside it. Amino acids, keratin proteins and ultra-fine particles penetrate the hair fibre, rebuild weakened bonds and seal the cuticle from within.

The practical difference is that your hair is not just smoother on the surface — it is stronger underneath. Frizz drops away, shine comes back, and most clients find their blow-dry time roughly halves.

Is it right for you?

Nanoplasty suits most hair types. It is particularly good if you have:

  • Frizzy or unruly hair that fights you every morning
  • Damaged or over-processed hair that needs repair as well as smoothing
  • Coloured or highlighted hair — the treatment is colour-safe and adds shine
  • Wavy hair you would like to wear straighter, without committing to permanent straightening
  • A Gold Coast lifestyle — humidity, salt water and chlorine are exactly what nanoplasty holds up against

If your hair is very tightly coiled and you want it completely straight, talk to us first. We will give you an honest assessment of what nanoplasty can and cannot do for your hair rather than overpromising.

What happens at your appointment

  1. Consultation. We assess your hair's condition, porosity and history, then tailor the formula strength. This is the step that matters most.
  2. Deep cleanse. A clarifying wash opens the cuticle so the treatment can penetrate.
  3. Application. The formula goes on section by section and absorbs.
  4. Heat activation. Blow-dry and precise flat-iron work seal it into the fibre. Temperature control here is the difference between repair and damage.
  5. Finish. Rinsed, styled, done. You leave with the final result the same day.

Making it last

  • Wait 48 hours before your first wash
  • Switch to sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner — sulphates strip it fastest
  • Heat protectant before hot tools
  • Avoid chlorinated pools for the first two weeks
  • Hold off on other chemical services for a fortnight

We stock salon-grade sulphate-free options and will point you to the right one for your hair.

Why have it done here

We are a boutique organic salon in Nerang, and smoothing is core to what we do rather than an add-on service. Our clients have given us a 5.0 rating from 62 reviews on Google and a 5.0 rating from 463 reviews on Fresha.

Every nanoplasty treatment starts with an honest consultation. If we do not think it is right for your hair, we will tell you and suggest what is.

Common questions

How much does it cost?
Nanoplasty is $450. It is one flat price and it does not change with your hair's length or thickness, so what you are quoted is what you pay. During September 2026 we are running it at $250.

How long does it last?
Three to six months. Fine, porous hair sits at the shorter end; thick, healthy hair holds longer.

Is it safe for coloured hair?
Yes, and it usually makes colour look richer. Colour first, then nanoplasty — not the other way around.

How is it different from keratin?
Keratin coats the hair. Nanoplasty repairs it from within, lasts longer, and is formaldehyde-free. We break it down properly in our nanoplasty vs keratin guide.
